In this video I talk about my timeline and why these events on my time were so important to me. I really enjoyed making this video just because I felt like I was re-living my past. I talked about my educational journey throughout my life and what moment did I want to become an educator. I talked abut how my grade 3 teacher really helped me out when I was struggling. I was having difficulty with math and english and she noticed that I was struggling and helped me understand and learn those subjects in a different way. Many of my teachers overlooked that and just told me to “do better”, this didn’t help me at all. I knew I had to change my learning strategies because memorizing wasn’t helping me. Other teachers just put me into a ESL classes when I knew that wasn’t my issue. I’m very grateful for my grade 3 teacher and I emphasize that in my video reflection. She made me realize I want to be exactly like her, she was kind, sweet and caring. All those attributes I want to have when I’m a teacher, I really want to care for all my students and make sure I’m having them learn a way that they can excel in!
